EGTS's Tax Collection System is designed to allow delinquent bills to be grouped so that arrangements for the payments of these bills can be made. This system allows collectors to be assigned to the groupings so that in house or external collectors can work with groups of related bills. As arrangements are made, the system will allow minimum payment amounts and dates to be tracked and the actual payments reported. By tracking the information all the way through payments, historical payment patterns are available. The efficiency of the collectors can also be monitored since each payment knows the payment plan it is made under and the payment plan has the collector who created it. Bills can be updated to properly reflect the penalty/interest calculations and any charges that should be included are able to be added.

  • Provides the ability to monitor, manage and work with delinquent receivables
  • Cases can be assigned to individual collectors or to collections groups
  • Cases can be moved from one assignment to another
  • Cases can be selected based on varying criteria such as amount due ranges or type of receivable (Real estate, business personal property) or combinations of criteria
  • Reports can be generated with user defined structure or as predefined in the standard reports
  • Assignment of a case to collections is fully integrated with the tax system. Cashiers can easily identify items that are in collections status during receipting and may be vectored to alternative action based on user-defined controls.
  • Payment plans can be established and compliance monitored
  • Ability to make changes is controlled by the user’s security settings
  • Collector activities can be user defined and subsequently reported upon. This allows management to determine what is producing results
  • Additional fees and costs can be added to the receivables based on site-specific statutes and ordinances. This is immediately reflected in the receipting module.
